Peter: I’m sorry. I have to clean my room.
Tom: Oh, I see. Do you have a lot of chores to do at home?
Peter: Not really. I always tidy my room on Saturdays. I also have to make my bed every day and wash the dishes twice a week. What about you?
Tom: I have to clean my room every day and I also help my mom with the shopping.
Peter: Its not that much.
Tom: No, it isn’t. So... do you fancy riding our bikes in the afternoon then?
Peter: Yes, sure. That’s a great idea!

Nick: What do you need to buy Lisa?
Lisa: I need a present for my sister. It’s her birthday next week.
Nick: How about a book?
Lisa: No, that’s not a good idea. She doesn’t read much.
Nick: What about a CD?
Lisa: Hmm... maybe... Yes, she told me about one CD she would like to have. Oh, wait! I’ve got an idea. I heard that her favourite band is giving a concert next Friday. I think I will get her a ticket for that.
Nick: That’s a great idea!

Joe: Hello Olivia. I’m having a party this Friday. Would you like to come?
Olivia: Sure! Shall I bring anything? Maybe something to drink or some food?
Joe: Thanks. My parents will take care of that. Tim promised to bring some CDs.
Olivia: So, maybe I will prepare the decorations?
Joe: My sister told me she would like to do that. But you make delicious cupcakes. Could you make some for the party?
Olivia: No problem!
Joe: Perfect, see you on Friday!

My house is quite big. It’s got eight rooms. Four rooms upstairs and four rooms downstairs. On the ground floor, we have a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a guest room. Upstairs, there is one big bathroom and three bedrooms - one for me, one for my brother and one for my parents. We also have a huge garden. I love my house!

I like school. I’m a good student. I only don’t like History. I think it’s boring. But there are a lot of subjects I really enjoy learning. My favourites are Geography and Chemistry. I like learning about different countries, reading maps and doing experiments. It’s great!

I’m an only child. Some people think it’s good because my parents can spend more time with me. That’s true. I get on very well with my parents and I can talk about anything with them. But I feel very lonely sometimes. I don’t have anyone to chat or play with when I am alone at home. I would love to have a brother or sister.

It’s great to have siblings. I have an older brother. He’s my best friend and we spend a lot of time together. We share our secrets and I tell him everything. We are never bored together. However, we have arguments from time to time. But I think it’s normal. I can’t imagine myself without him. I love him so much.

I have two younger sisters. They are twins and they are 2 now. I am happy to have them. You can never be bored when they are around. The problem is they are noisy and they like being with me, especially when my friends come to visit me. It’s really annoying. But in general, they are one of a kind and I would never trade them for anything.

I have only one sister. We’re twins and we’re 13. I can’t imagine a better situation. She’s my best friend and we always share secrets with each other. We have a great relationship. Even though we are almost identical, it’s not difficult to tell us apart. I have long curly hair and my sister’s hair is short. She’s a bit taller than me. And we never wear the same clothes.

Dear students!

17 March is coming soon! This year’s St. Patrick’s Day is going to be a bit different. We will start the day with playing Irish songs in the morning and during long breaks. Remember to come to the main hall at noon on that day. 7th-grad-ers prepared a photo booth and some accessories which you will be able to use for free. We are going to teach you a traditional Irish step dance as well! It may look complicated, but it’s going to be great fun for all of us.

The main event is planned for the evening. Come to school at 7 for the greatest party ever. The entrance tickets cost 1 pound only. But if you wear green, you won’t have to pay at all.

There are many more attractions arranged for the day. We still need at least 2 students to help us with the decorations. If you can do this, come to the school library today at 3. Have a nice day!
